Women in business

Today is 16 days of October, 2023.

After a long day, looking after our family, house, working, gym and dealing with others, the feeling was like walking on eggs.

Everything must be perfect to our point of view, but perfect is relative and in the end of the day, we use our own business and knowledge to improve our quality of life at the same time not.

Our tasks are many.

How to focus in our tasks when inside we are in another place like our family, children, house? How to create results and improve our knowledge to make things happen in a better way?

We call that routine.

Creating something takes time to visualize all the context, we just do it with many mistakes until we got improvements, but after all, we work everyday on the same thing to improve our knowledge, to improve our tasks, to improve our results, until we realize that we need to think in the future, similar to men's work.

What was hard before now is not to hard.

What was impossible, after all we find a solution to become possible.

On the way, to find our path, we visualize that what we really want for our life.

What is necessary and what is not? What is good and what is not good to archive our results.

On theses days, results means many thing, for example: profit on business, improvement in our tasks, challenge ourself to make better everyday to archive what we want it.

Most of the time, when we live in a society, is not always we have control from the circumstances, specially for women, that is why having knowledge and perception in how to act is the way to understand and dealing with that.

We also need to learn to let it go! To understand that what is important always come back in a way we probably don't know.

Women in business with many tasks, usually work with a different perception from men. We are more flexible in our decision, we are more sensitive and we focus on family necessity.

According to American psychological association, men and women share cognitive skills. are most likely the result of social and cultural factors. Anxiety may be another mechanism explaining gender differences.

If males and females were truly understood to be intellectual equals, things might change in schools, colleges and universities, industry, and the workplace in general.

The only thing We didn't figure out why and how this "mess" has happened to us, women, because if we didn't have that in our life, learning from since young, our development would be better, indeed, our improvement would be much better with more opportunity and balance.

Women in business as well, worry about pay gap, according to The gender pay gay from New Zealand, The gender pay gap in Aotearoa New Zealand has reduced steadily from 16.3% in 1998 but has fluctuated over the past decade. It is currently 8.6%.

Median hourly earnings for women rose by $2.15 (to $30.15), while earnings for men increased by $2.15 (to $33.00). In 2023, European women had median hourly earnings of $31.50. By comparison, wāhine Māori earned $28.29, Pacific women earned $28.00, and Asian women earned $29.00.

According to them, given the range of causes, the solution to the gender pay gap is complex and requires sustained action over time from a range of participants, including workers, employers, careers advisers, business leaders, employee groups and government, and a change in societal attitudes and beliefs about women and men, and work.
